The MDMC Quantum Science and Education Research Hub (MDMC-QSER Hub) was established in 2024 as a collaborative initiative of theoretical physicists and educational researchers exploring the intersection of quantum science and STEM education. Initially founded as a QSER Hub, the group focused on developing innovative educational strategies and building a foundation for research in quantum science education.
In December 2024, the Hub officially became part of Model Divine Mahila College, marking its formal establishment as MDMC-QSER Hub. This institutional home has enabled the Hub to strengthen its resources, expand collaborations, and broaden the scope of its research and educational initiatives.
Although still young, the MDMC-QSER Hub is steadily carving its niche in the field of quantum education, launching programs such as the Quantum Immersion Program and developing pioneering resources like Game-Based Learning frameworks. Under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Bhavna Vidhani, the supportive leadership of MDMC Chairperson Prof. Sushil Dutt, the expertise of Lead Researcher Vijit Nautiyal, and with the support of our research collaborators, the Hub is building a foundation for sustained growth and innovation.
Looking forward, MDMC-QSER Hub envisions leading innovations in quantum science and STEM education, empowering a quantum-ready workforce, and contributing to both national and international developments in the field. By combining rigorous research, practical applications, and immersive educational experiences, the MDMC-QSER Hub aims to establish itself as a dynamic centre for emerging leaders in quantum education.
