Current Projects
1. Quantum Immersion Program Year 3
The Quantum Immersion Program Year 3 continues the ongoing Science Immersion initiative in partnership with the Philippine Science High School – Western Visayas Campus. This program engages interns in immersive, hands-on experiences designed to deepen their understanding of quantum science concepts and their applications in STEM education. Through interactive workshops, research activities, and mentorship, the program aims to equip students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, preparing them for advanced studies and careers in quantum science and related fields.
The second year of the Quantum Immersion Program 2025, conducted under the Science Immersion Program in partnership with the Philippine Science High School – Western Visayas Campus, was held online over two weeks with 30 interns. This program provided participants with hands-on exposure to quantum science concepts, practical applications, and STEM research methodologies, fostering both knowledge and skills essential for future quantum education and careers.
The pilot run of the Quantum Immersion Program 2024 was also conducted online in collaboration with the Philippine Science High School – Western Visayas Campus over two weeks, engaging 20 interns. This inaugural program introduced participants to foundational principles of quantum science and offered immersive STEM learning experiences, laying the groundwork for subsequent program years and contributing to the development of a quantum-aware student community.
In partnership with the Philippine Science High School – Western Visayas Campus, this project focused on the development of educational board games aligned with the Grade 7 PSHS curriculum. Alongside the games, a comprehensive Game-Based Learning framework was produced, providing a structured approach for integrating board games into classroom instruction. The framework has been published and demonstrated to be applicable across diverse educational contexts, offering a valuable resource for educators seeking to implement interactive and engaging learning strategies.
